I prefer this version and wonder if it's possible to make them all perfect circles? |

I am not used to viewing or critiquing dark images, but I appreciate how you have transformed your original through editing even though I'm not comfortable viewing it. I must conclude that you succeeded! |

Yes, I think it helps a bit by adding contrast.
I wondered if a stroke would help too? |

Wonderful! Keeping the head of the Linx Sharp is key. I'd like to hear your story on capturing the original. |

Perhaps not an original idea, but well done none the less. I especially like their walking into a bright cheerful setting away from the ominous clouds. |

I favor graphic images and shapes, so this is very appealing to me. I will look for ways to use this technique.
From my point of view the composition would be improved by deleting the rightmost object and adjusting the line and size to suit the new composition.m |

My first impression is that I see an Angel with a halo, but that would lead to an entirely different story.
Very appealing! |

Thanks especially for pointing out the distractions. I must confess that I didn't see them because I never viewed it at 1:1. Very careless of me. |

Yes, the original was actually a butterfly pattern but the display space was much too cramped. I couldn't pass up captured some of its detail though. |

Since the primary subject is the tree, I suggest brightening it and toning down the path. I think that will add impact. |

Your monochrome and original 2 illustrate how an excellent image can be presented in greatly different ways. I really like both of them.
I think the egret has been tamed by the frequent sight of shellers. |

Thanks.
The frame is simply a Gaussian Blur of the selected section.
The filter I used to ,edit the original was Droiste last available in CS5. |
