Group Round C/R Comment Date Image
18 Mar 21 Comment Very creative! I'll have to try both the layering and swirl techniques. My citrus trees in AZ are blooming now and the current crop of fruit is ready for picking. Mar 25th
18 Mar 21 Comment I think there are so many fine images here, that it doesn't do justice to them. I think it would work best as an introduction and close to a video presentation of the individual images. Mar 25th
18 Mar 21 Comment I enjoy exploring the detail throughout this image. I think a black and white monotone would also be excellent. Mar 25th

20 Mar 21 Reply Thanks, this is an old image that I resurrected to create #2. It was my first effort at radically changing colors locally. Mar 25th
20 Mar 21 Comment When I enlarged it, I saw the red eyes a d liked that too. I think all it needs is cropping. Well done Mar 20th
20 Mar 21 Comment Beautiful sunrise, but this image is puzzling to me. It may help me understand if your title related to your intent using the puzzle feature of PS.
Thanks for the detailed description of your process. I'll have to use our Club's PC to find the PS puzzle tool.

20 Mar 21 Comment Great creative idea and very well executed blending to tell your story. I agree with Shirley and would prefer to see the gorilla larger. Mar 18th
20 Mar 21 Comment I think you used the right tools to create.what you envisioned. Very well done. Mar 18th
20 Mar 21 Comment Very dramatic to my eye emphasized by the background.
I'm sure you mirrored, reversed and copied the top half to the bottom. That created a very balanced image.

20 Mar 21 Comment Beautiful.
I don't recall ever seeing a triptych in a PSA discussion group or competition, but I Think it is very well suited to telling a story without words. I wonder if this would be allowed? What do you judges say?

20 Mar 21 Comment Well conceived and masterfully executed. The air currents in those clouds, I believe would very well be akin to rough seas. Rendering the sail dark also contributes to that story for me. The stars are a nice smart touch; my second viewing makes me appreciate the finished look provided by the stars.
Super.

31 Mar 21 Reply I understand what you said, but wondered if any shoes were displayed without flowers, because I would have liked to capture that given the opportunity. Mar 25th
31 Mar 21 Comment Very dramatic and very well presented. Are any of the shoes displayed without flowers? Mar 25th
31 Mar 21 Comment I enjoy exploring this composition for its variety of subjects and interesting lighting textures and tones. It almost has a 3D look to it. Very unusual! At first, I thought it was layers. Delicious! Call me before some of it spoils. Mar 25th

64 Mar 21 Reply I'd agree to cropping a bit from the top. Thanks. Mar 25th
64 Mar 21 Comment Yes, I agree and prefer the last shown version but with the right most paint chip removed. Mar 25th
64 Mar 21 Comment I like this a lot. The addition of the woman makes it much more meaningful and atttractive to me. Mar 25th
64 Mar 21 Reply Thanks for your thoughts. I don't feel I have enough experience to have an established style and try to approach each picture independent of all others. Maybe, next month will appear different. Mar 19th
64 Mar 21 Comment Thanks, this one did take some time and thought.

I joined this Group to learn and improve. The quality of images I see here each month and the knowledge and care everyone generally exhibits has spurred me more than I had expected. This Group has also gotten me to appreciate each member's talents, so that I appreciate a wider range of other images I see. This experience has also helped me Find what I really like.
I do not consider myself a photographer. However, I use the tools and enjoy the adventure and discovery everywhere.

Keep up your good work.

64 Mar 21 Comment I like your original because I think it shows sufficient separation of tones and good detail and contrast. The handles do distract my eyes though. Mar 14th
64 Mar 21 Comment I think you had a great idea to use a mirror in order to show the detail on both sides of the watch that you executed so well with stacking. I also like the way you eliminated the hot spot and the line. The spread of the chain is. Interesting too.
My only suggestion is to rearrange the watch in relation to the mirror. to improve the composition. It would require a lot of trial and error for me but I think it's worth trying.

64 Mar 21 Comment I think you found the perfect composition for photographing this sculpture. One member of our club is retired from a very successful career of boudoir photography. Since he was prohibited from exhibiting his excellent work in our retirement community, I suggested that he cover each one with a cloth so that viewers would have to lift them. He never bothered to do it. Mar 14th
64 Mar 21 Comment My first impression was a that of perfect rendering of tones, contrast and detail, but then I notices the bright outline along the edges of the bells. Mar 14th
64 Mar 21 Comment I wouldn't have expected a high contrast treatment of a bird to be so attractive. I will be borrowing that same lens for the summer, so I expect to spend a good deal of time in a bird bird refuge near Brigham City, UT. Mar 14th

64 Mar 21 Reply The original was uncropped and satisfactory is was I meant to say. Mar 10th
64 Mar 21 Reply I've been in this Group about 2 years and I was surprised to hear I had a recognizable style. Do you see it with non rust images too?

I expect it to continue to evolve given my limited experience. Let me know if you see a change.
