I think all the many elements work very well together.
I'd consider a second version with the butterfly wrapped around the top of the head and forehead using puppet warp. |

This made me smile. It looks very real to me, a big compliment on your choice of images and blending.
Boys always find creative ways to play. Of course, they also break more bones than do girls. |

I like all your choices and treatments.
I am less familiar than you with the buses though, so i'd Like to see more detail by brightening them with light coming from the left front and dimming the exposure in the center. |

I printed it with two pictures of irises on a mug for Valentine's Day. Taking no chances, I also gave her candy and an orchid. |

I think this is an outstanding painterly image. Your selections for focusing my eye are right on the money. The crowd in the background also creates interest rather than being a potential distraction. Overall, it inspires me.
Do you do any real painting on canvas? I'd at least print this on canvas.

Very creative and well done. Given the parallel lines in the background, I have no problem with the appearance of going uphill. |

If I hadn't seen "original 2", i would praise this image. But I appreciate #2 much more because of the composition, especially the drift wood. I also prefer the less detailed background and the vignette. Two fine pictures. |

Thanks for reminding me about Puppet Warp. I have PS6 on an old slow laptop, but it still works. I use Elements 2020 now to supplement Lightroom 6 and my plugins.
There's still time for me to make a Valentine. Thanks again. |

This is very appealing, makes me use my imagination conjuring up science fiction stories. And I don't even read or watch science fiction. Very creative, with excellent composition! |

I'm glad you appreciate it. I'm a Chicago native, but there are many new sites to see and others to revisit and see from a new perspective.
Maybe, I'll visit there this summer as we travel East from our summer residence in northern UT.
Luckily the owner of my favorite Chicago pizza restaurant retired to Phoenix a few years ago and has opened a few restaurants convenient to me. |

Thanks. I like your view of it too with the light dominating the front. I continue to walk all around sculptures whenever possible to find the perspective that is most meaningful to me. |

I think this was the first time that ever exercised patience before I clicked the shutter. It was important to me to capture as many men as possible looking at my subject. |

Very interesting composition, lots to hold my attention.
I have two additional Topaz filters to suggest within Studio 2, precision detail and precision contrast. A couple times when I needed detail in a big enlargement for a client, I resorted to working pixel by pixel. It worked. Most other times when I have a composition I like that lacks the detail I want, I'll work with the original color image and make it painterly. |

I think this is a great composition. Fine art. Something I search for but have never created from scratch. Yes, I too prefer less grain, but it's not a problem for me here.
Personally, I would add colors to make an abstract artwork. It would be an interesting project for me. |

Yes, isn't the latitude provided by digital cameras wonderful! you did very well indeed but of course it all started with an excellent, interesting composition. A few times over the years, I've composed an image and positioned my wife to photograph me walking hand in hand with a young grandchild in similar locations. |

My first impression also was that of a reflection.
I prefer the monochrome for the previously mentioned technical and aesthetic reasons. I think it's an excellent image. |
