I really like your concept and choice of images. I think I would prefer to see Mary more well defined and the cross faded though because I think that's what she's contemplating. |

I'm a longtime fan of Escher's tessellations and impossible graphic images. Your image immediately brought him to my mind. So, you may look to his work for further inspiration.
I like your choice and use of images and the unusual border works well too. You've given me some ideas. I've never heard or seen PanosFX impossible images previously. |

Sorry, I can't give you precise instructions because I'm traveling for another 2 weeks and don't have my PC. Please send me an e-mail at the end of Aug. if you still need it. jafunk1941@yahoo.com |

I tried to make a needlepoint conversion once, but it didn't look anywhere near as good as yours. Excellently done in my opinion. |

I just edited hundreds of photos from my 2019 visit to the D'Orsay Musee in Paris. So, I can't help but make a vavorable comparison of your composition to that of Cezanne. He was highly regarded by his peers for his excellent compositions too. The folds in the cloth impress me as well as the placement of the carrots, lettuce and wood. *****. |

I think you made an excellent choice of background and blended the two images perfectly to enhance your beauteous cat. I hope you print it too. |

Your choice of texture and frame creates an eerie impression for me. I generally think of flowers as soft and lovely, but this works too. Very creative! |

I view this as a fun filled project with a resulting image that's reminiscent of the 30's or 40's aiding by the color choice. Very nicely done. |

Our webmaster Tom Pickering instructed me on how to fix mistakes like this. The system solution is not obvious but nevertheless Tom continues to improve the system and provide simple solutions. I'll try to be more careful with everyone's submissions. |

The errant title is my fault because I only saw a segment of the picture when I named it. My apologies to Pat. |

If my wife agrees, I'll print it 3'x3' on glossy aluminum along with another iridescent blue globe that I created. |

I'm looking forward to seeing your circle. I recently resumed doing them after first starting about 10 years ago. I have also done other variations using the distort command.
My initial incentive was trading 3'x3' prints on aluminum for extensive dental services. Before that I wasn't what I consider a serious photographer. The dentist eventually sold 2 of his prints for $1000 each rather than leave them in the offices when he sold the practice. I am proud to say I eventually received $70,000 in services and 1/2 of the cash sale all without any written agreement. |

There are a few trees in Phoenix and quite a few in some areas of the Gardens. So, I find it interesting to observe and study the patterns. Actually, I just found another bit of dappled light, but it was in Brigham, UT. You can see that on the Aug. DDG 64 page when it's posted.
I failed to mention that the posted original is the result of having first applied a Topaz Studio 2 filter of some kind while experimenting and trying to learn it. |

I too appreciate the reality of the bird blending with the background. I also like that the image is straight, because you only have the bird for reference. |

I think this is a beautiful photograph with excellent tonal range and detail. I'd prefer to have the tree removed to preserve the purity of your image. |

I like everything about this picture just as it is. Ideally, there would be rays from the sun but that's wishful thinking and why artists have a creative advantage over photographers. |

I think you executed your vision excellently. I suggest that you correct the right side slightly to make it perfectly upright. |

Thanks. Yes I deliberately tried to avoid distracting detail. I'll take another look at the color version and perhaps enhance the detail and saturation a bit. |

My dual lens Pixel XL has 8x telephoto that satisfies my needs. I bought it solely as a camera and recommend purchasing the Pixel 4A with the same camera when it becomes available. It may only be $350. |

There's lots to like about this image. Well composed, excellent use of soft light to enhance her delicate skin and back light to enhance her hair. Ripples in the water contribute to the mood and create added interest. |

I think having recently edited hundreds of images of impressionistic art including Renoir's famous scenes with dappled light made it easier for me to stop and capture this image. I think we photographers are blessed with seeing things that most people overlook. |

You found an excellent subject and composed it very well. I think it lends itself for a lot of creative variations too. I like it a lot, but think the upper left demands a frame or stroke be added. |

I think you captured a wonderful graphic image that is perfect for monochrome. I would like to see it perfectly symmetrical though. I know that's a tall order when faced with glare on your phone's screen.
If Google or Apple made a point and shoot camera with an eyepiece for focusing i'd Purchase it. |

Yes, that was my intention. Thanks.
Ordinarily, when I see an image with subtle colors, my first inclination is to intensify them and add colors. I will still do that and may submit it to DDG 20. |
