As always, one can crop to find interesting images within an excellent image as presented.
I find the frame interesting but not really necessary. I don't like to see part of the dog's ear cut off.

My first thought was "Monet". I've seen pictures of him with a similar beard and that thought carried over to the water Lillie's, but I agree with Cindy comment on the floating appearance.

Only a creative mind like yours could recognize the potential of your accidental cut out of the tree. The result is stunning to me. |

I think the composition and lighting are excellent. I would just like to see the eyes a bit brighter. |

Thanks for the suggestion.
I will darken the bottom right a bit. |

Given your objective of presenting a silhouette, I would darken the sails to emphasize that and perhaps lighten the sky a bit. |

I like this image a lot, but I find the bright area at the top slightly distracting. Not being a purist, i'd probably clone in some branches. |

This is a very interesting combination of graphic elements. However, my taste doesn't open myself to including people when the those elements are so strong.
I think it would have been very challenging though to find a position to stand where only the building and sculpture would remain. I'd probably resort to cropping and cloning to focus on the 2 elements interesting to me. Maybe, two images would have to be combined to achieve my desired effect, but I think i would have found it worth my effort.
My mind keeps working on this, adding various complementary colors to my imagined creative abstract image. |

The sisters are obviously happy, and I don't think color is needed. I suggest darkening the bright window because I find it distracting.
Eyes are so important, so I would like to see a catchlight in both eyes and probably would have preferred to see the eyes of the second girl too. |

I find this a very interesting composition. I suggest brightening the reflection though.
I also wonder if you could have positioned yourself closer to the granite reflection, turned the camera and capture a portrait image of the arch and reflection? |

I think this is a good graphic image as is.
I might consider another version in a square format that would crop out the non-circular element on the right. Alternatively, both the right and bottom elements could be darkened to emphasize only circular elements. |

I don't recognize this as a race, but I suppose a more knowledgeable person would identify the boats as racing boats. I can see that the lighting presented a big challenge, but I see evidence of clouds and wonder if the sky could be edited to add that element of interest.
I might also try overexposing one or more sails to draw my eye to the skips. |

This was in the Corning Museum. I seen duplicate pieces in Milwaukee and at least one other art museum. |
