Sorry, I can't reproduce it here and rarely ever.
Any new ideas for me to try? |

That's much better to my eye. Now just tone down the two bright spots that distract me.
I also thank you. I just registered with photoshopcafe. |

Thanks. Perhaps I may be better able to evaluate and improve the contrast if I convert it to BxW?
Yesterday, I was happy to photograph a Basilica and Art Museum in Milwaukee. Today, I enjoyed Spring flowers and specimen trees in an arboretum. Tomorrow, I'll attend a meeting and competition of my daughter's and grand daughter's Photo Club in Chicago. Then a couple museums and a flight home. |

I'm traveling now and can't recall the specific filters I prefer for these decaying buildings.
I try to emphasize the texture of the wood and make sure that all of it has some color and is not even near having highlights blown out.
I also open the shadows and warm its WB.
Other times, I emphasize the grey tones.
For monos, A warm sepia tone often looks appropriate as might a vignette that removes the details around the border.
Another idea is to crop and concentrate on the right center, collapsing building, perhaps leaving one window on the center building. Maybe, the shadows of that window can also be opened to reveal detail too.

I think your image is beautiful as is.
I like to enhance most of my flower images by brightening the centers and oftentimes increasing clarity. My idea is to make each flower pop without losing the delicacy of the petals.
In this image I would also prefer to brighten the petals.
Of course, it's all personal preference and next year I might have a different preference. |

It's the blotchy sky that really appeals to me. The composition works well with the unbalanced hill. I think it has a foreboding look, but apppealing nevertheless. |

Yes, I think I should have let this image rest for a couple weeks before accepting my final image. |
