43 Dec 25 Reply Believe it or not, there is a formula to photos of the moon. Start at f 8, 1/250th a second. With that shutter speed you don't need a tripod. At F 8 I don't think depth of field becomes an issue. You could go to F 22 and I epect you would then need a tripod. The Dark Side album had a prism splitting light. My imagination kicked in with a moon photro. I added the lights which are extended along a linear line. The lights are just "created" and are not randon. They gradually increase in size from left to right. Conversely, they decrease in size from right to left. The light is not random. Beyond that ... take your mind beyond what no other human mind has ever gone. Dec 21st

43 Dec 25 Comment Since you wanted to capture Fall colors you did that quite well. At first look it is a canvas of bright color that is multiplied by the white home. The painterly effect sort of adds flow to the image or even motion. As an alternative, I would try to go a little darker on the image. I also use Topaz and almost always I reduce the effect ab out 50%.As an alternative I darkened the image in Photoshop and removed that on the house with the history brush. Dec 21st
43 Dec 25 Comment You have done the Cathedral proud! Pittsburgh is my home town. The Cathedral is beautiful in color - but - to bring out its true character black and white accomplishes that nicely. Using wide angle makes the Cathedral "tower" in the imaged. All the tones are here and the contrast is great. My Silver Effects (Nik) still works. I will try tro send it to you. Dec 3rd
43 Dec 25 Comment Since you want impact and definition of your image I think your use of geometric reflections defines your subject. It catches the eye with color and multiple leading lines. Despite the grim past, this image does Hanger 79 proud. Dec 3rd
43 Dec 25 Comment Andrew, I like this photo for a number of reasons. The police officer is the center of attention and he controls everything around him. This is emphasized by the motion of the other "subjects" of the image. All activity and the "calm" in the center. Dec 3rd
