43 Aug 25 Comment Great photo and explanation! Considering the telephoto lens this is quite sharp! I agree with Bruce about the wings. This is very good story telling and that is always a plus in nature photography. I would darken the area below mother bird. This area is a bit overexposed and it competes with the light color of the mother bird. Aug 23rd
43 Aug 25 Comment Bruce, This a rich colorful photo! The reflection is wonderful and I can tell there wasn't any wind. I really don't notice anything on thew right. I agreee a tighter crop on the right has an overall beneficial effect on the image. What a beautiful neighborhood! Aug 23rd
