What an exciting image. At first I thought it was taken with a drone. The background for the image really really makes me think "flight". There is dark sand in front of the bird's beak and I would get rid of that. Good shot of the gull. |

I like the crop for this image. We know exactly what the subject is. The backligting on the flag is a nice touch. This works very well as a B&W and the sepia adds the right feeling. Your post processing was very successful as I can just imagine what the image looked like with all that sunlight. I like the shadow on the roof. Well done Andrew. |

My eye goes to the setting sun and then falls back toward the ship. The reflection in the water completments the ship. That the ship is in silhouette adds just the right amount of impact for it. A very good crop - giving the ship room to continue on its voyage. The dark clouds in the upper part of the image complement the dark ocean in the lower part of the image. You even have a couple of birds! |

I think you got an amazing photo here! Is it B&W? You were smart to decide on the settings before the shot. The corona is the star of the photo here! There is a bit of grain there which adds to the mystery of the corona. You did very well with this one! It has a great deal of impact and power. |
