Bruce, she is a beautiful little bird. The yellow chest is quite distinctive. The branches bisect each other and that is a plus. The eye has a good highlight. Depth of field calls attention to the bird. Since it is a diagonial crop I might see what I had if I gave a little more room on right where the bird is looking. Good focus throughout |

This has impact and it is abstract. It doesn't favor urban life. It makes city life look hard, edgey and full of heat. The sky is very much overexposed and that adds to the factor of heat. Global Warming? |

Sharp and is quite intersting. The motion of the bee upwards is a plus. I am becoming a fan of the squaree crop. It works quite well with this image. I expect the tighter crop works. Great depth of field and color! |

I like this crop. You have excellent detail and exposure on the whale. The ocean looks soft and inviting. The ripples add interstr and are also leading lines. I had an opportunity to take a similiar picture when a woman from France stepped right in front of me and all I got was s red sleeve. I still think of her and hate her. |

I am not sure why, but I think this image is more pleasing as a strong horizontal image. Sets up well for the rule of thirds. Exposure is very good and the background really complements the butterflies. Too bad you couldn't have gotten a third butterfly on the left! |

Just as harley did, I saw a small bird in that pestel. I like the detain and color. Your efforts as to light are to be commended. I have a macro lens and sometimes it turns out fine and sometimes not. How far away from the orchid? (lens to orchid). Did you shoot straight into the orchid? I like the symmetry here. |
