There isn't a cannonball. It is just gunpowder. |

Believe it or not I really didn't add any saturation to the blast. |

It just seemed to me that you had enlarged from the original. It is dreamy. My eye immediately went to bright white object at top. |

This is a great crop! The only issue is the depth of field. It would have been better to photograph only that flower and you would have had more to work with. Have you tried macro photography? The white parts of the flower pull the eye away from the rest of the flower. There is little or no definition there. Why not go all out and apply a filter to give it a painting type look? |

This is lush and colorful. I think the pot might work really well as your foreground. The original image is full of excitement and color. I sure looks like a peaceful place! |

Yes, this is Reykjavik! You expressed your idea exactly. The street lines define the buildings. The building are colorful and have a variety as to shapre. Youe idea with the Topaz filter was very good as it helps to focus attention on your actual subject. A agree with doing filters on the low side. Sometimes I use a filter and then partially remove the effect with the history brush. |

This is very good story telling. It is good as a B&W and gets right to the point that way. I expect I would like to see it in color as well. It is a cut against the grain. The knife is interesting and has it own special place in this image. I expect there was some motion woith the knife. |

You have captured the "story telling" of the WWII era! The "pin up" with the airplane is "vintage". Normally it would have been taken with Kodachrome on a 4 x 4 camera or a 2.25 x 2.25 camera. The blown out sky behind the young lady brings the eye right to ker. I like the crop! |
