Caught my eye. The leaves are impressive. They are quite beautiful in the spring. Especially with back lighting. |

I used levels and then partially removed brightness from smoke with history brush. I used denoise AI and Sharpen AI and totally removed effect from smoke trails. |

Harley. I have waited to comment. I have been thinking about your image. Sometimes, less is more. I like the sky and smoke trails in the original image. I think the edited image is over sharpened. That gives the smoke and the planes a somewhat unusual look to my eye. This is a really good image. You can apply these topaz affects to the image and then remove or cut back on the effect with the history brush. You can really detect the corruption in the smoke trails. Those trails don't need to be sharp so just remove the effect there with the history brush! I think there is merit in the crop suggestion from Bunny. Having the planess appear to be coming out of the dive is sort of more comforting. Yet, your original may be more exciting. Just sharpen the planes and see what happens. |

You certainly had the timing down correctly. This seems to be the crescendo of the action. I never have any luck with fireworks. I am grateful your shared the exposure information. 1/6th second seems short to get all this action! This has IMPACT!! The building lights and refections add to the image. |

Perfect exposure! Nothing over or under exposed. The reflection is good and the bird is expressing a behavior. Very sharp! Nice highlight in the eye. Lane's suggestion of a little more on the left might be worth exporing. I like those circles on the left. |

Photojournalism! What a visual story. The power of nature is awesome in this photo. That helicopter certainly looks close to the waves! The rotors fighting for altitude! The tower in the ceter is ok I think. The viewer sees two "man made" things fighting those waves. |

Wonderful symmetry! This is also high key. All the tones are here despite that! The detail of the flower centers is quite remarkable. The flowers just "flow" together. Don't change a thing! |

Welcome to the group. You have "vision". That certainly looks like an alligator! The border and the color of the border complements your photo. The ice below the "alligator" offers balance and a gentile contrast. Do you think keeping some of the ice in upper left helps at all? |

I think the additional blur helps, except for the twig. |
