43 Oct 23 Reply Harley. This was a workshop. I was one year out from a double bypass.I got to the sand dunes and I was out of gas. I just stayed in this one cornewr and looked for interesting images. I don't have any shots further out. It would have been nice to have had the strength to "push on". Oct 21st

43 Oct 23 Comment No figure three. A bit more serene I think. Oct 15th
43 Oct 23 Comment This is very creative. The basic image is quite nice. The soft look adds to the story telling here. I agree with Bruce. I would re examine the crop. I think we need to see more at the top and less at the bottom. I don't know about figure in orange shorts. Can't see face; but does he add balance as he is the third figure? Oct 15th

43 Oct 23 Comment The light is always the thing! F 2.8 gives you exactly the depth of field to make this work. I prefer cloudy days for photos like this! These leaves are quitre delicate and this photo brings that out. I think this photo could benefit from a further crop considering the subject. Crop 1 just takes a "little off the top". I then resized that image to 6 x 4 in Crop 2. Oct 15th
43 Oct 23 Comment If life gives you lemons. Make lemonaide! This has a stong fantesy component. It makes me think of some of the illustrations from the 70's. Oct 14th
43 Oct 23 Reply Thank you! I will give that a try! Oct 14th
43 Oct 23 Comment Story telling in photography is important. If you are going to show us aYelow Rumped Warbler and we only get to see one photo, then this is the one. The yellow rump is a bit overexposed and I would try to burn in the details. Oct 12th
43 Oct 23 Comment You have a very good and creative image. Using a fish eye gives an exciting perspective. The reflections are an unexpected bonus I would expect. There is a feeling of a time warp here. The solo figure adds perspective. Oct 12th
