I did learn one important thing about the macro lens. You want to shoot as close to perpendicular as possible because of the issue with focus. |

What a special and creative image! Sharp as a tack throughout. I wish my camera could focus stack. I would not change a thing. Bold and beautiful color. I would have never figured out that was a sea urchin! |

An excellent B&W. All the tones! The starburst adds so much. I don't think the bottom third of the image adds anything. The tree, sky and skyline are what is important. |

My eye just gets lost in the bottom of the frame. The cloud reflection is what you are after in this part of the image. Linda's crop handles that nicely. Some of the clouds are a little overexposed. I would "burn" that a little or clone some detail. |

What a great capture! I would title this "Look what I have". I does make me smile. I think the square crop is perfect for this image. I like the refection. I wonder if cropping a bit off the right would help the image. |

I really like this photo! This is "storytelling"at its best.
Very sharp and colorful. Did you pay him for the photo? Do you think the image would benefit by cropping a bit off the right? I thought the beard looked very good in the image to the right. Perfect exposure! By brightening the beard I think you made it look washed out and overexposed. Why "fix" perfection? This fellow looks like a real character. I attact people like this. |
