I also thought it would make a good B&W - but it didn't do well. There is a good bit of wood that just washes out in B&W. |

This is a stunning image. Perfect exposure. Nothing overexposed. The color is soft and wonderful. I agree with Linda. The boat needs more room on the right. The city skyline on left isn't all that important to this image. |

There is a lot of texture and detail. I can't imagine a worse time to take a photo in Arizona than midafternoon. Your post process is spot of for contrast, color and interest. The crop is good! Those waving lines in the rock continue from bottom to top. Well done. Good eye. |

The perspective is perfect. The texture of the urns is unique, and I see why you took the photo. The bottom of the image is good, but needs darkening on bottom right. The background at top of image should be removed (in my opinion). It distracts. It pulls the eye away from the subject. Middle urn and left urn- top right, are a little overexposed. Easily fixed. |

Foregrounds are good. I think you have a little too much foreground and I would suggest cropping out just a little. The car trail lights are a plus. The road is a very interesting line. I think the sky is a bit blown out top center. It pulls the eye away. I am sure it was a beautiful morning. |

This is a very striking image! It tells a story, which is important. The footprints are a unique leading line. The presence of the petals in the footprints make this a truly compelling image. While those footprints will eventually fade away - their presence is accentuated by the petals. The sand texture is great! I don't think the sky adds anything to this image. Some of the clouds are overexposed and pull the eye away from the footsteps. |
