43 May 22 Comment I like the perspective. The Blue Bells and Indian Paintbrush seem to go on and on! There sure are a lot of them! The figure on the right is an anchor point and lends perspective. Very colorful and the sky sets this up nicely. May 10th
43 May 22 Comment I really like this image. I can feel energy and purpose. That bird has a place to be! The ripples around the feet show motion. The color and focus of background complement this bird perfectly. Colorful but not overwhelming. I agree with Bruce, I think the snail is an important part of the picture. May 10th
43 May 22 Comment The foreground really sets up this image. There are two leading lines that blend in so beautifully with the sky and ocean. Sun and reflection are a plus. The plane landing is exposed and positioned perfectly. It seems to be following the line on the right. Maybe a higher ISO would have been possible? May 10th
43 May 22 Comment I saw a web presentation that dealt only with photographing broken, imperfect ... subjects. It impressed me. We look for perfection and miss images that are far more interesting. I like you image. The story here is "broken". That is the very first thing I saw and the rest of the image complements that. It is good to tone down the color a bit. You could keep just a bit of the green on the left. Image looks "naked" there. May 10th

43 May 22 Comment Thank you, Harley. I took photos of these blooms over several days, As the blooms last only one day I was given many options to photograph. I selected this one as it has an odd number of flowers. May 8th
