If you got that detail into that large undefined area, then Good Job! I think my remarks were mostly complementary. This is a discussion group. If you got that detail to "appear" then you now have a great image. It may be just me but portions of overexposed sky bother me (in my photos). Again this isn't a mutual admiration society. We are all trying to get better. |

It took me forever to realize that cropping has many uses. It is ok to start image with legs above roof. You can fiddle with the bottom of image. Move him a little to the right. |

Can come from the processing. Topaz AI noise is remarkable. |

Focus and composition are excellent. Possibly crop out as much of the roof as you can. The capture is good. The eye is a point of interest! Feathers are so clear! You don't have the feet entirely so just crop out the roof? |

Well composed. I agree with Bruce as to the three elements. Fog is always a plus. The exposure seems to be the problem. You can always do something with an underexposed photo. An over exposed photo is a real problem. The sky is really washed out in a large band all across the image. Much of the red in the foreground is always overexposed. Fortunately, you can crop out post of that sky and concentrate on the wonderful fog. |

Your concept was good. I am distracted by all the noise in this photo. It really subtracts from your otherwise well composed image. |

The 270 mm lens gave you ideal depth of field. I like the leaves the way they are as it adds softness and context to the butterfly. You have great detail, and the essentially black and white butterfly really stands out! |

This is a well thought out image. Longer exposure was ideal for the ocean water. I like the well lite pier going out into the ocean. It gently leads the eye to that wonderful sunset. There is the hustle and bustle of the highway which gives way the ocean and then the sky. |
