43 Jan 22 Comment How exciting. You stopped the props on the plane. Fast shutter speed. Thus, a wider aperture and more noise. I am not sure if slowing down the shutter speed would help. Could be more dramatic if there was some blurring within the propellers. This is a C-130. A very fine plane. Flew on them several times in Vietnam. I would add the huge drop of fire retardant is the subject and you composed the picture with that in mind. Jan 14th
43 Jan 22 Comment Composition is very good. The focus is very good. The flying dirt behind the rider adds drama and excitement. I agree with Bruce and Harley about the sign and red cone. Jan 14th
43 Jan 22 Comment There are several lines in this photo that interest and depth. The water is in three forms. The leaves complete this photo perfectly. That dead center waterfall is blown out. Very easy to fix with clone tool. I also removed an item over on the left under slow waterfall. I put a star there. That "thing" being there made me uncomfortable as it looks so very much like a _______ Jan 14th
43 Jan 22 Comment I love this type cattle. They are beautiful. You have made a good capture here. The exposure is spot on. I understand about the high iso. You have to use the tools you have with you! Now, the other side. For an outstanding capture of this bull, you needed to get his eyes in the picture. I realize that is tough. Still, you just have to have those eyes. Mybe, you do something about his right eye. Jan 11th
43 Jan 22 Reply I think just one on its side would be good Jan 7th
43 Jan 22 Reply There is a sense of urgency. Jan 5th
43 Jan 22 Comment I agree with Linda that this composition has a story. I too would separate the film rolls. How objects are arranged is extremely important for photos like this one. So is the background. I really think this photo needs a black background.
The white background is a distraction, I think. I think the camera will be a star attraction with a dark background. Maybe put one of the film rolls on its side? I don't know how to use layers, so I just painted in the dark background.

43 Jan 22 Comment Well, that 13 mm lens has captured/created a remarkable and powerful image. That central portion of the stairs is quite a leading line. But wait, there is more! Would you call the lines formed by the edge of the staircase "curved leading lines"? The edge of the stairs leads your eyes up and there is the beautiful stained glass! My eyes stay there. Rich color and detail in great! Jan 4th
43 Jan 22 Reply Had not paid any attention to that light. I think the raised fist is interesting. I also have hundreds of photos of Chinese people taking their own picture in front of "things". Jan 4th
