Background and the flower are very well suited to each other. Sharp and good colors with great contrast. Good detail! The lighting is very good and the right side is back lite (it seems). I like just the two leaves at the bottom. Very good crop. |

The black swan is impressive. Graceful. Good lighting. Well she has three young. Odd numbers are good. The only problem is that they are so darn ugly! Two of them have their backs to you and detract from the image. Light background top is a distraction. Linda's suggestion to concentrate on the mother and just one cygnet. |

As you said, the best part of this image is the top. Why not concentrate on that. I think the bottom third of the image doesn't add a thing. Making it a vertical captures what drew your attention to this scene. |

I do think this image needs to be cropped down so as to do justice to the subject. There is too much going on, especially in the top of the image. Those circles are interesting but they are a distraction. Color and focus is very good. |

This is story telling at its best. I think the blue barrel belongs on the left. My eye goes there and then on into the image. The graffiti on the train cars complements the dilapidated train station. Well thought out. |
