This image just grabs your attention! It has tremendous impact and tells a story about this bird! His bill and chest is more colorful and that draws your attention. Would not change a thing! |

This is a lovely pastoral in that it depicts life in an idealized manner. The water slowly leads your eye through the image. The colors are soft and relaxing. The ripples and the star burst are great! The depth of field concerns me. The focus seems quite soft in the background. This can usually be corrected by focusing on something about 100 feet into the image. |

Well done Bruce. This dahlia is a beauty! Using the black background was really thinking ahead! All one's attention is directed at the subject. I like the crop. The focus and exposure are spot on!

You sure can tell they are twins. It works the best as a B&W as it seems to focus your attention. The crop is good. A faster shutter speed would have helped this image. It is good "street photography" that shows feelings and tells a story. |

What a great edit! When high key works, it really works! This almost looks like a Japanese painting and I mean that as a big complement. Flipping the image was a really good idea! When life gives you lemons - make lemonade! Shadows! Leading lines. Just wonderful!!! |

Where do you want the emphasis? What is the most important thing for your viewer to see here? The road is a strong leading line. It leads to the horizon and that is ok. The group of trees at the road meets horizon is good. The composition may need to be adjusted. Green is good but I think that is too green. This is just a suggestion |
