I waited to comment on this photo! I have seen many pictures of the "the bean". I have never seen anything like this one. It isn't as easy as saying this is what the bean sees. It goes beyond that a tells the story of a popular spot and captures the excitement, the activity and the presence of the crowd inside a busy and active city. The inherent distortion only adds to the impact. A remarkable and very original image! |

I am very moved by this photo! It is wonderful as a B&W. You have all the tones with black blacks and white whites! The symmetry of this image is just fantastic! When I went to the American cemetery in Luxemburg I had in my mind's eye a photo like this but I just couldn't make it happen. The photo has a somber and thoughtful feel and it tells a story. A meaningful story made up of many individual stories. I too would straighten this. Well done. Spot on exposure of sky in background. |

The male and female pair is a nice touch. The background you have used is a distraction to my eye. The focus is soft. Foreground too bright and too colorful. |

I have just started taking these type photos. There are limitations based on what type lens you are using. Since these are Native American pots I thought the Native American design of the rug complemented the photo. The dark background makes the pots stand out. I took many many photos using different light sources and including some light painting. |

I enjoy this photo. It is so sharp and the exposure is spot on! Depth of field is great. Helps the subject stand out! I am a little troubled by the large dark branch on the right.

Initially this image really catches the eye. The colors are vibrant! I like the detail of the sand in foreground and the footprints in foreground. The bedouin looks fine but the camel is too bright in a few spots. Since you shot this a F 2.8 there just isn't any detail behind your subject. That is unfortunate. |
