Hello Alex. Welcome to our group. I read your Bio. Congratulations! You have had a difficult journey to get to where you are (and belong). I was born in Akron and spent most of my life in Pittsburgh. As to your image I agree with Bruce. I would second his suggestion to you provide the aperture, shutter speed, ISO details. Also the camera and lens type. Only the people in this group find that stuff interesting. Especially so with an image like yours! Excellent background. The blur of the wings conveys motion/flight. I too noticed the tongue right away. The bird's eye is spot on and my attention goes right too it. I love hummingbird photos and this is a quite good one. Again, welcome. |

The beginning of the Day! Clouds or fog moves on to its destruction by the sunlight! Both the mountains and the fog/clouds provide their own leading lines. I had a thought about the crop. It is very bright in the upper right of the image and I think that subtracts from the message. I would crop some off the top and add to the bottom (if possible). I would try burning the upper right just a little. I would do this just to see if works at all. It might not and this is a very strong image just the way it is. The bright on the right corresponds with the left of the image being lite up. |

This is a wonderful capture. We don't always get to photograph what we set out to! Always a good idea to look up and behind you! I might crop take just a tiny bit off the bottom. My eye goes to the hawk's eye immediately! I don't care for Linda's changes. It makes the whole thing look "artificial". |

An excellent landscape. No doubt at all what is the subject! The reflection is great. I agree with Bruce about cropping a little off the bottom. |
