43 Oct 20 Reply This is a time exposure of a top that is spinning. The white lines are distorted sun glare that are disrupted by the motion of the top. This and the top of the top demonstrates motion to my eye. I like it the way it is. Oct 19th
43 Oct 20 Reply It was just a 16 x 20 black mat board. I was using full sun coming through a window on my left. That sun didn't work well with the matboard. I used a Topaz filter to change the background only. Oct 19th
43 Oct 20 Comment This good. It is very good! B&W is a great pick here. What a sky. There is some noise. We can live with that. The lightning strike is the magic moment in this image. A special moment in time framed by driftwood! Great composition! The tones are excellent. White whites and black blacks. Oct 19th
43 Oct 20 Comment I like the shot. Both the bug and the flower are important. The dark background on the left and the top appeals to my eye. I expect this wasn't easy with a macro lens! Did you use a tripod. Angle of the lens to subject is always so important with a macro lens. I have a slightly similar photo and I used a similar crop. Oct 19th

43 Oct 20 Comment I think this is a compelling image. Color, waves and texture. The bottom right has a slightly green tint I would get rid of.I don't quite understand how the image was made and that is my fault. I don't understand what Original 1 has to do with this? The water drops are a nice touch. Oct 19th
43 Oct 20 Comment This is a good nature photo that tells a story and captures a special moment in early fall. The composition is good and I like the reflections in the rice field. The birds in flight are spectacular. Oct 19th
43 Oct 20 Comment A good capture of wildlife is always tough. I do know that the eyes of the animal are often the most important thing when it comes to wildlife. The colors seem oversaturated to me and I think that is a drawback. This image would not qualify as a "nature" or "wildlife" photo for competition. I would like to know the story behind the photo.
