It is not about the lens aperture. It is more due to the lens characteristics. You probably used a wide angle lens to shoot this image. I think a telephoto lens will yield less distortion. |

It is a very nice capture which shows your excellent observation. I do like its composition and would only suggest to enhance its contrast a bit further. |

A very nice IR B&W conversion with good tonal range. What works for me in this image is the symmetrical structures and arrangements. My minor suggestions to possibly improve the image would be sharpening it a bit further and removing the trash can. |

I like this image quite a bit. It has very good composition and dreamy IR effect. I also like the original version which I think has very good contrast level, whereas your final version is more dreamy and artistic. Both are good, just personal preference. |

For me, I like both color and B&W versions of this image. I think each has its own beauty. However, for the B&W version, my minor suggestion would be to enhance the contrast level a bit further.
Also, it is just my observation: Except the center, the image appears to be bent outward. It could be a little lens distortion. That might be why all the surround containers (except the center) do not look circular. |

It is a nice composition and relatively sharp given that you handheld the camera. I would suggest to open up more shadows. |

I would suggest a tighter crop to remove more left and right side of the image. With a tighter crop, I would prefer not to see the red light. |

You captured a precious moment. This type of shot often makes wildlife photography very interesting. Your camera settings are good. I understand that we usually do not have much choice of composition in wildlife photography, but I really wish to see the catch lights in the eyes of these adult Grebes. |

I like this image a lot! Very good composition, nice shadows including his own shadow and that of the stick. Toning it with sepia is also a good choice from my opinion. My minor suggestion is to crop it a bit from the left of the frame to remove part of a concrete pole or wall. Please see my visual feedback.

Thanks for your feedback, Gunter! Here is the original image of this shot before I applied a motion blur effect on it. |

It is great capture, Gunter! A wonderful blend of red, yellow, and green! Given that you shot this image handheld at 1/20sec, it still looks relatively sharp. Perhaps, the macro lens provides more details and makes the image appeared sharper. My only suggestion is to tone down a bit further the bright highlight almost at the center of the frame. BTW, good composition!
