21 Feb 26 Comment Wow! A shot to be proud of. Beautifully captured in mid-flight in some lovely lighting. Everything you could hope to see in the birds feathers and head! Feb 3rd
21 Feb 26 Comment You have done well to get this bird triumphantly showing off it's catch. Perhaps I would darken the frog a tad. Also, the left hand background marks, (almost like some cloning), could be softened slightly. Otherwise, great! Feb 3rd
21 Feb 26 Comment Good depiction of this beautiful bird in it's environment. Very well seen. Feb 3rd
21 Feb 26 Comment Super action shot, and I know it isn't easy to catch a bird in the process of eating! The background is a similar colour to the bird, but still it pings! Sharp throughout, and an amazing shot! Feb 3rd
21 Feb 26 Comment You have managed to keep a sharp and colourful depiction of the bird in exactly the same way as you did with your January picture. Certainly, living in UK, this is one I have never seen before! A beautifully controlled background too! Feb 3rd
21 Feb 26 Comment What an incredible bird! You did well to maintain the clarity of the subject, with all the surrounding foliage. It certainly demonstrates the amazing variety of nature. A shot to be proud of! Feb 3rd

95 Feb 26 Comment The softness of this image is an artistic change from the normal tac-sharpness of close-up work, and is a beautiful rendition. I am not so keen on the added information bottom right, but that is just me! I would also clone out the little curved element bottom left that distracts slightly. Feb 19th
95 Feb 26 Comment A good, colourful, rendition of the flower and it's stamens. A very successful image! Feb 19th
95 Feb 26 Comment The pollen has certainly added to this portrait of the bee, and has created a great image. I am not into the stacking technique, and the number of stacks is surprising! There are a lot of ideas that create unusual images, and it seems as if you must have worked hard to obtain this one, and it has certainly paid off! Feb 19th
95 Feb 26 Comment You have successfully brought out the texture of these cones! From your description of the process, you have worked hard to get this image, and it was certainly worth the effort. A very unusual result, and far from the bug pics that I enjoy taking! Feb 19th
95 Feb 26 Comment A super close-up of the crystals with some dramatic
colouring. I would imagine that it is very difficult to use a microscope/camera set up to produce something as beautiful as this, so well done!
