Hi Michael. I hardly ever use flash these days, since quality of high ISO is now so good that I use 1250 or above to freeze things! |

Never seen this bird at rest before. It is perfectly balance in the frame with the greenery growing on the wall behind! Imagine it in flight with those huge wings! A super capture. |

The background camouflage is a good setting for the head and body of the bird which is well caught, maybe crop a tad of the top of the image? You did well to take the shot from a kayak! |

Isn't nature wonderful to create something so bizarre? And haven't you done well to capture the image in such great detail? I agree with Tom about the crop to create a tighter image. Lovely! |

A lovely Waxwing pair bonded together. An inobtrusive background helps to isolate them well. In particular the blend between the yellow of their bodies and the blue of the sky is super! |

Tom, this is a lovely capture of a bird I have never seen before. Some very unusual colouring, especially that eye! I think that you have probably taken it just after it has surfaced, as the shape of the water would indicate. Super pic!

I use auto sharpen, lighting adjustment, denoise, and occasionally haze removal. |

You have created a super image of the spider and web. I never appreciated that iPhones could be so good as to be able to capture at this detail. I wonder if all of the leaf it is hanging from is needed in this shot, and even when cropped down, the image remains pretty sharp! |

This shows the spiral off well, and creates a super image. A pity about the broken bits of the curved piece, inner left. There would probably be a great deal of work clone-mending them, and probably best to leave as is! |

The fly is well caught, with its colourful eye. I agree the lower part of the plant needs to be cropped out, since it is not a relevant part of the image, and will bring the fly better into the frame. |

This one grows on me the more I view it I like the tendrils, helped by the brown background. Unusual, but very strong image! |

A great reason for being in this group. You have acted on Stuart's suggestions, and brought the image to life. Super! A good choice of subject matter too! |
