21 Oct 25 Comment A beautiful image, which has caught this attractive bird in full detail. Good inobtrusive background. Tells me all i need to know about this colourful bird! Oct 9th
21 Oct 25 Comment This one shows the brilliant colours off very well. I am struggling to see the beak, which is my only regret with an otherwise fine image! Oct 9th
21 Oct 25 Comment Well caught on the action. I suspect you were anticipating the dive, and probably had to take several before you got the right timing. Either way, it is super! The background is well handled too! Oct 9th
21 Oct 25 Comment Good shot of this cormorant. All those that we have in UK are the black version, so this one is of great interest. I am intrigued that you are bringing out a shot from some years ago. Nothing wrong with that of course. I tend to use current stuff if I can. I would be interested to know what other members of the group do? Oct 9th
21 Oct 25 Comment Wow, what a huge mouthful! Absolutely spot-on shot of this lovely bird. Nice soft background, and sharp eye. You should be proud of this one! Oct 9th
21 Oct 25 Comment A super shot landed on the statue's beak. Bird's eye is bright, and overall the image makes for a great capture. This is a great group for showing birds that I have never seen before! Oct 9th

95 Oct 25 Comment I very much like the detail and colours of this one! I trust that you don't mind me trying to bring out the definition slightly, by using Equalisation, and Haze Removal in PS Elements. Oct 9th
95 Oct 25 Comment A bit intriguing this one! Th whole subject seems to be hanging in space. And with the strands on the left, it could even be like a kite in flight! One that grows on you the longer you look! Oct 9th
95 Oct 25 Comment An unusual angle makes for a dynamic shot of the coneflower.
The only thing slightly irritating me, and that's probably not a major issue, is the loss of the tip of the left side centre petal! Love the colours and the softening top and bottom!

95 Oct 25 Comment Nice treatment on the bud makes a lovely dreamy image. If it were mine I would tilt everything to the left, and give a tighter crop, so that a lot of the stem is taken out, and there is more concentration on the bud itself! Oct 9th
95 Oct 25 Comment Over all, the bee is good and sharp, so the fact that parts of the flower are blurred is not a great problem! Good image of the subject! Oct 9th
95 Oct 25 Comment Lovely shot of a lovely flower and it's stamens. I tend to find that there is always some slight fault in flower images I take, and this one is just perfect! Oct 9th
95 Oct 25 Reply Thanks for the comment! Oct 9th
95 Oct 25 Reply Thanks for your comments. It appears to have been 1/500 of a sec, but using AP F9, and ISO 1250, I never actually check the shutter speed! Oct 9th
95 Oct 25 Reply I always use AP and never check the shutter speed. Looking at memory it was 1/500 of a sec! Oct 9th
