21 Apr 24 Reply I merely mean crop a bit off the top and right-hand side of the frame. Matter not if it isn't water, which it resembles to me! Apr 23rd
21 Apr 24 Comment Nature certainly provides a myriad of wonderful colours, and this is no exception! Normally of course males need to be more colouful in order to attract a mate! Super shot on a good perch. Apr 15th
21 Apr 24 Reply for the sake of clarity, Greylags are geese! Apr 15th
21 Apr 24 Comment Super shot with the bird captured in full song. This shows exactly what the bird and it's plumage look like to someone like me, who has never seen one before. Outstanding! Apr 15th
21 Apr 24 Comment Not for me I'm afraid. I would like to see the original because I would bet that it is better than this adjusted version. I am also a member of one of the creative groups, and have used birds occasionally in those submissions. I personally wouldn't submit any adjusted versions in this group since I thought it was just for original captures. I would be interested to know what other members think! Apr 15th
21 Apr 24 Comment We have only recently been getting breeding cranes in any number in UK, so it is always nice to see them in flight. I think that Tom's effort improves the clarity of the birds. Apr 15th
21 Apr 24 Comment At first I had difficulty appreciating the action because of the angle of the pelican. Perhaps the water could be cropped out a little to improve the clarity of the main subject? Apr 15th
21 Apr 24 Comment You have caught the head and wings very well as an action shot. Inevitably this has lead to a lack of detail in the body, but on balance does this really matter? Apr 15th

34 Apr 24 Comment Thanks All! Apr 30th
34 Apr 24 Comment A clever combination, and full of interest! I don't feel that the top flower is needed anymore, since compositionally I think it works better with the lighthouse at the top. Lots of clever work which succeeds well! Apr 15th
34 Apr 24 Comment I like the original, but I don't feel that the filter adds anything extra! Apr 15th
34 Apr 24 Comment Super image, beautifully assembled. The speckled bits below the bird have obviously been added deliberately, and I am wondering what they represent? This would make a lovely print! Apr 15th
34 Apr 24 Comment I like this abstract and it's subtle colours very much. Good work! Apr 15th
