They did indeed land in the field on the far bank of the river! |

Good capture of the bird on downward descent. I think it could be given more space on the left, which would be very easy in view of the background as per Tom's suggestion. I wonder if the feather detail is almost a little too sharp! (It is rare for me to suggest that!) |

Well captured little bird that, again, we do not see in UK. It has just turned it's head nicely to give the necessary information! Thank you for sharing it with us! |

The heron has been caught from below, but you have still managed to retain a good amount of detail. I also like the surprised expression! I agree that there seems to be a degree of over-sharpening! Since there was no distracting background to worry about, I thing I would have chosen a higher F #, say 8 or 9, to make sharpening less necessary! |

Good close-up of the egret and it's detail. It is always slightly hard to retain detail where egrets are concerned, so you have done well. Egrets, even small ones, disappeared from the UK because of ladies' desire to adorn themselves with their feathers. Little egrets started to return in the mid 1950's and are now well-spread throughout the country. Great egrets are at last becoming established. |

Good action shot! I agree a tighter shot cropping off the lower part of the feeder would bring the important parts closer. The background is nicely blurred, and the slight movement in the right-hand bird's wing adds to the atmosphere. |

One word sums it up - Brilliant! I almost feel sorry for the fish. Super capture by you and the bird. |

And an interesting story it is too. The mono effect works well. I just feel that the image would be complete as a cropped format to the background on the left, but keeping the birds to the right of the sun. Also, is the text really needed? Great image all the same, with lots of hard work paying off! |

My eye wanders all round this image. Normally, the instruction is to have some fixed view point, but in this instance I am quiet happy to be kept busy investigating this strange abstract! |

Like the dancer on the right and her background very much. I feel that the left hand side of the image doesn't work as well, and perhaps crop it out completely. A drastic suggestion but I think that you would be left with a super image! |

A beautiful image, and the original bird shot is great too. Perhaps reduce the size of the bird, so that the wing tips are not in competition with the background? Love the clouds too! |

To me it is a happy monster and well constructed. I love the subtle colouration which suits the subject. I might reduce the lines within the headlights slightly, since they seem to drag my eye to them, especially on the right hand side, but this is a very small suggestion. |
