The filter has worked beautifully on this image, and has created a really good artwork from a straightforward original! Gunter's idea of darkening the paper is a good one, but I think it has been taken too far! Super work! |

Great posterization of the original! It's just a shame that the minder on the left is half out of the frame. Unfortunately I can't see an easy way of getting around this! |

I've tried the AI version but it is very slow and a bit cumbersome. I prefer cloning but not when too much is needed. |

The problem at Straw's Bridge is that there are so many birds on the water that I try to crop without having to clone out ones that are close to the subject. |

I understand about the wing. I reckon darkening the lily pads doesn't improve! |

Another bird that we don't get in UK and great for me to see. The bird is rendered perfectly, and the moss on it's branch is a bonus. A gorgeous shot of this colourful bird! |

The finch is caught in a great attitude. Very good detail of the plumage. The angle of the bird corresponds to the branch it is sitting on. Super shot! |

What a portrait! This shows the extraordinary beak off well. I do think that Tom's suggestion works! It has obviously been grubbing for food in the mud! |

Good rendition of the ibis against the blurred background. Does the fence actually dip to the right. (I am being too pedantic I know!) You have done well to keep plenty of definition in the white plumage! |

My original comment seems to have disappeared! I think that the bird is well captured with it's feed, good, sharp and colourful. Your image shows the bird well with the catch-light in it's eye. I have never seen a limpkin before as they are not a UK visitor so this is of special interest to me. The background is a little difficult, but since this is where the bird resides that is not a problem. Might it be possible to lighten the dark areas slightly to bring out a little more definition to the bird's right wing? |

Well caught in the process of a turn in the air. Nicely blurred background is not intrusive. Your image shows the bird to great effect. I find that if I over-sharpen the image it can cause a white halo. I think the bird is plenty sharp enough if this is the case. |

Very dreamlike and another super composition. when I first viewed your husband I thought he was sitting on a promontory on the rocks, and I hadn't seen his trousers and the fact that he was standing. Perhaps you do him the honour of brightening him slightly, so that he isn't blending into the background quite as much? The balloons are fine for me, and form part of the surrealism! |

A very clever composition that works very well. This sets the aurora off beautifully. My only question is would the lit figures work better without the grey tops? |

A subtle blend of colours from the beautiful rose petal. For me, the format chosen is slightly too long. I have suggested that a square format, together with a complementary frame might work? |

I understand your old and new theme, but for me the faded blooms spoil an otherwise colourful composition. The vertical format is right for the subjects, and everything is nicely placed apart from the amaryllis(-is, -es?). A work in progress I feel. |

This is a super construction. Colourful, well composed, and all the elements fit well together to make a great sci-fi story. I am full of admiration for your creativity! |
