I'm not sure what happened to a comment that I made - it seems to have disappeared. I think that the treatment of the catkins is super, and the colour adjustment suits the new image very well. Your usual frame is also a perfect and important part of the new image! Beautiful! |

A beautiful treatment Andrew and it suits the subject well! The blue tone aids her melancholic mood! |

A very colourful composition which resembles a page from a story book. You have very cleverly made each selection of vegetables resemble part of the landscape. The only part of the pic that isn't constructed from veg seems to be the windows and door. Perhaps slices of cucumber might work? I particularly love the trees!
Would a slice of tomato for the sun peeping over the cloud on the left be OTT?
Love it all apart from the mushrooms that I have an intolerance to! |

I wouldn't mind a supply of what you must have taken before working on this creation!
Compositionally, I think I would have placed another eye in the space above the green line on the left, or perhaps a couple more eyes in different places but this is just a thought!
Very reminiscent of London's Carnaby Street in the 1960's!

Some great shots of the heron! At our local park there are about 20 pairs at the moment, all nesting in one tree, and I am getting some decent shots.
Your concept of 5 lift-offs is magic, and makes a stunning image. The choice of monochrome is also good, since it also helps to obscure the background.
The white frame also helps to make what I feel is a super picture! |

The originals are great, and it is a good thought in combining them into a dramatic shot. Would setting the planes on a slight diagonal make an interesting offset to the square-on view? Also the edge of the wing of plane top right seems to be cropped by the edge of the pic, and maybe should be moved down slightly to allow the whole plane to be in view. |

I do like this concept very much. The lily pad looks good horizontally reversed, and the addition of the frog has created a point of interest and some nice humour! My only thought is that the left had side lacks a little definition, and perhaps a slight cropping of that side would also give the lily pad and frog more impact! |

Terrific pic with loads of impact, a wet evening well spent! My only thought is that the man's head is slightly smaller than the woman's, and it might be better slightly enlarged. This is only a minor consideration however. |

Thanks, Andrew. I did try the deer facing inwards, but compositionally I feel it is better facing away from the trees rather than towards them. I know the rules are usually for things to face inwards but then rules are there to be broken! |
