18 Jun 22 Comment I'm not sure about this one Jim. You have done a lot of work, but converting to mono, and then re-colouring doesn't really work for me. The 'eyes' are the best bit, and several more of these would definitely improve things. Jun 11th
18 Jun 22 Comment I think that the treatment works well on the building and other background, but not so well on the statue, which is rendered a tad indistinct. I think that if you clone round the edge of this to render it sharper it may help. Jun 11th

18 Jun 22 Comment John, I think this distorted image is really eye-catching, and well seen. I hope you won't mind, but I have made a couple of suggestions. For me, the white area of the lampshade tends to take the eye away from the main area of the room. I have (rather crudely I admit) filled in this area, and I have brightened the darker areas and reduced the light in the white areas slightly. I will quite be prepared to be rapped over the knuckles if you feel that I have mucked about with your image, and I apologise in advance! Jun 6th
