Thanks Jim. I thought that I had also sent Ian the colour original but I have added it now. The waterline looks just about horizontal so maybe platform is slightly out of true. Well spotted though! |

This works amazingly well mainly because the original subject matter lends itself to the treatment, and produces a fine image. I think I would take a snip of the top and bottom to create more of a letterbox, otherwise perfection! |

I think original 2 possibly works better than the final image, in that the right hand side and base provide definition. A very unique image which grows on you the more you view it. I would suggest it would be appreciated more by judges as a print if entering in competitions.

A good idea, well executed. The lens comes up a tad dark on my screen. If the screen is not to blame, I would suggest applying a lightening to the dark areas, to make the image stand out more. Either that or re-photo the mug against a lighter background. I bet your grandson loves it! |

This is very well done. I use this technique on parts of buildings at our local university, and to date have a collection of over 60 examples. There are a couple of small blemishes which could do with cloning out, then you will have achieved perfection! |

Clever work. Very successful use of the Turner filter. I know from experience that this only suits certain subjects. A thin frame would help to distinguish the lower section from the black background. |

You have made the image more like a real flower than the original. Terrific work, especially on the stamens! Super border too! |
