Mono works well, and the removal of the helper helps to isolate her plight. From the two hooks either side, it appears that she has climbed a ladder to get to the top, so after a small rest she is probably over the worst for this obstacle. A great piece of story-telling! |

This is a very successful combination. I love the way you have managed to clear the areas between the leaves to show the background. This is not easy to do, as I know only too well! The clouded sky colouring and clarity also suits the new image. You have managed to create great depth to the shot. Congratulations. |

Good correction for the short-sighted Pharaoh, and he seems happy about it! There is always room for more humour in our photography, and this is a great example. Just lighten the RHS of his face slightly, to make the specs more obvious.

A good, well-saturated creative image. I would suggest lightening the dark areas on the left to show a little more detail. This is a case where your creativity has produced an improvement on the original! |

I think that the suggestion of monochrome would work well. There are some colour halos around the bottom of some of the rings, which mono would eliminate. My eye is also drawn to a piece of puckered-in ring centre RHS which could be corrected. As well there are some blemishes in the degree of saturation in parts of the rings. A decent image, but not one of my favourites this month! |
