18 May 21 Comment The original image is fascinating and I think that by isolating the pumps you have improved the picture successfully. Could you tell me what filter you used to create the outline, please, as I would like to try it! Great job! May 8th
18 May 21 Comment A bright and colourful image. I especially like the edge sharpening. It is just a pity that you didn't include the original, and tell us what processes you used to achieve the final picture! May 8th
18 May 21 Comment This is a most interesting image. I think that your cropping and mono conversion has been skilfully achieved, in that the original in colour sent one's eye in all directions, especially to the orange ladder on the left. Your final image concentrates much more on the ship's details. My only thought is that the final image is a little drab, and some additional contrast might help in this regard. I have done some tweaking, and probably overcompensated, but trust you won't object to me making a few adjustments. I have increased midtone contrast (20 in PS), added artistic poster edges at minimum, and treated the image to Topaz Adjust 5 Autumn. May 8th

18 May 21 Comment A lovely, and successful image Ian. The blend of colours is splendid, and I have spent quite a few minutes gazing at them. I have a nice image of the same passion flower, and your example has encouraged me to try my hand at creating something interesting with it!. I thought it was quite a coincidence that we both used the PS Twirl this month, - it is the first time that I have tried anything with it! To my eye the colours at the top of your image are very feint, and I am wondering whether they might be strengthened slightly? Other than that - Perfick! May 3rd
18 May 21 Comment I reckon your hard work was worth all the effort. You have created an individual piece of artwork. I'm sure the bike fanatic would agree too, since you have managed to reduce his age considerably! I wonder, for the sake of balance, if a small sliver should be taken off the base of the image? May 3rd
