Thanks for your comments Jennifer. Yes, I started off with the branches at a lower opacity, and for me it didn't work since they were more difficult to see properly!

Welcome to the group Jim. And a splendid image for starters!
I love the wacky building with all it's shapes and angles, and the clouds are great. The girl is certainly a strange dancer, and to my eye is just a little too sharp, as if she has been inserted in the scene rather than being part of it. A little less opacity would probably sort that out together with a slight softening of the edges. Altogether an imaginative shot, though! |

Hope you haven't been affected by the terrible fires, Jennifer.
You have produced an unusual graphic image from the combination.I like the black edge to the LH bird which gives it good definition.I wonder if it is possible to do something similar with the other bird, since it loses a little around the beak and neck against the vibrant background. Some great colours going on! Good title! |

A very good art shot, Kerstin. You have given the two images just the right balance between them. It was a great idea to have the words crossing the dancer's body. For some reason the overall image reminds me of the art of Toulouse-Lautrec. One minor criticism is the dark background line that extends across the dancer's face. I might have be inclined to soften this before combining the images! |

Yes, well thought out, and cleverly shot. I like the texture of the background against the main image. Simple, but fun! |

I like the original version very much. The elephant in your new version responds well to the treatment, but without seeing the original, it was difficult to interpret what was going on in the chair back. I do think overall it loses impact from the original, but that is just my personal opinion. |

Happy New Year, Andrew. I much prefer the mono version. It simplifies everything, whereas the colours in the main image cause some distraction. The mono version reminds me of a witch, cycling along with a flowing cloak, which I like very much. |
