Thanks Ian.This was due to a reflection from the grass that the deer was standing on. I had noticed it and thought I had dealt with it fully. Thanks to your eagle eyes, I hadn't! I have now gratefully adjusted the master copy. |

I think that this actually works better than the colour version, because of the outlines and increased definition which sometimes happens with a mono conversion.I guess the reason that the colour version might impress exhibition judges more is because they only have 3 - 4 seconds to make a decision, and in those circumstances colour can rule. |

I agree with Andrew on both points. If it was possible I would reduce the size of the fairy, she looms too large in the background, compared with the foreground image. I do like the subtle colouration and textures. |

Jackson Pollock would have been proud of this one. Some would say it needs a centre of interest, but I think it works well as it stands. No cropping needed. As I sit and look at it my eye follows the swirls around hypnotically! |

An attractive creation from the original hibiscus. For me it is all about the centre portion. The top and bottom seem to come into their own if the image is rotated as a horizontal. |

Love this image Ian. You have created an attractive composition from the original sculpture. It certainly gives the impression of flight as per the title. A great tweak! |

Some great colours and shapes. I would like to have seen the original to see exactly what you have done. The eyes and the snake add humour to the image. It reminds me of a conga eel emerging from it's den. |
