Tom, just because someone puts a different interpretation on your image doesn't mean it has failed. Be happy, and go along with the variety of views.

The wings are lovely, a great production. I agree that the ring doesn't really fit the image, it turns the wings into a serviette! Something to complete the butterfly would work better. Overall worth further working!

The process works well. The blue is metallic and just about perfect. The original angle of take is spot on. Worth bring the slide out of retirement. My Epson scanner has remained dormant for about 10 years I'm afraid! |

A clever technique to produce a striking image. I like what the process has done, especially to the hair. Could we see the original, please. |

And a happy holiday to you Kerstin! The merge is very well done- you can't see the join. I still haven't got used to using my iPhone for anything but as a phone! You shouldn't worry about taking all your gear, and if it gets on peoples' nerves it is their own problem! The selfie doesn't show up very strongly with the dark lenses. This should be easy to rectify.
A nice postcard from the Baltic! |

I do like the painterly effect, the crop, and the vignetting. I am being pedantic, but there is a slight lean to the right which could be corrected. Otherwise, Great! |

Be Afraid, very afraid. I love the idea of the unsuspecting horse about to become breakfast for the bug. The one thing I would do without is the owl on the horse's back - it isn't needed to tell the story and could be placed in a different area. Crop a little off the RHS too! Very imaginative! |
