I like the change of horse and lighting which overcome both my earlier crits! |

Super shot full of drama. Maybe the boat could be a tad larger and slightly more to the left, but this is just nit-picking. Well constructed! |

I quite like the effect, which is a bit like a water reflection. I have put it through Topaz Adjust 5 Bold, and then clarity, and I think the result strengthens the image a tad. |

The above 2 remarks were made when the wrong image was posted. As to Mark's graphic work of art, I love it's subtleness. I am also a firm believer that creation does not only happen in post-production, but also at the take point. In this case you have noticed something that most folks wouldn't give a second glance to, and have gone on to produce a beautiful image - no crits! |

You have merged these two images so successfully that I didn't realise it wasn't a straight shot. Crisp, and beautifully in focus, well created! |

Before I read your method notes, I knew exactly what you were trying to achieve, and you have recreated the British Rail posters wonderfully. Also reminds me a little of an illustration for Thomas the Tank Engine. Very successful!

I think that this has the makings of a great image. I love the background and the floating shell. For me, the horse is too large and appears cramped in the shell, poor thing. Also because the horse is now within the shell, the direction of light on the horse and it's shadow looks wrong. Make the horse slightly smaller, and soften the lighting on it. Recreate the shadow as it would appear in the new environment, and certainly make it less harsh, and I believe that you will have a winner! |
