Stourhead is a large estate in South West England. It comprises landscaped grounds, an artificial lake, an 18th century mansion, the village of Stourton and a church. It is located at the source of the river Stour. The gardens were designed by Henry Hoare between 1741 and 1780 and they contain trees and shrubs from around the world as well as a number of monuments. |

This car must be quite old for a tree of such size to have grown up through it. I am always tempted to seek out and photograph old abandoned cars when I am in the US. They are a fascinating subject. I can't suggest any improvements, if you cropped the top you would place more emphasis on the car which is the most interesting part of the image, but the viewer would not appreciate how large the tree is. Love the title. |

I rather like the subtle colours in the original version of this while I find the mono version a little busy. I think if you cropped the image from the top to just above the cross the building would be more dominant and act as a stronger focal pint. It would also simplify the image. I do like the curved path which leads the eye to the church. |

Fantastic sky. My eye is immediately drawn to the swirl of cloud on the left side and then to other aspects of the image, there is plenty to hold my interest. I do find that the sky and the foliage on the trees compete with one another a little but I don't think there is much you can do about this, I don't know whether darkening the foliage might help. Great image. |

This is very colourful, indeed I like the combination of blue/mauve and yellow tones very much. I think it probably has more impact than your earlier mono version. The only suggestion I can make is to reduce the amount of sky in the image which makes the mountain in the distance more dominant in the scene. |
