This is a stunning image Debbie. I just love your use of colour. What a charming building. It's enhanced by the colour and the shadows on the roof. I'd perhaps try to remove the shadow from the fence on the right but otherwise it's perfect. Lovely. |

A lovely image Helen and beautifully composed. It is a shame that the cyan bleeds in to the clouds but having spent so long on this image I don't suppose you want to spend much more time on it. This is a typical English parkland scene, I think the black dots are geese are they not? Easy for me to recognise as I am so familiar with them. I too have had problems with the latest Photoshop update, so much so that I uninstalled it and reverted to the older version. I have now reinstalled it but haven't given it anything challenging to do yet. My fingers are firmly crossed. I'll let you know how I get on as it may be worthwhile reinstalling it as I did. |

This is a lovely image. I like the way you've framed the gazebo under the branches. You've also done a great job of removing the distracting elements. The blue roof of the gazebo and the colour of the sky enhance the scene. I agree that the shadow in the right hand bottom corner should be removed. |

I love the centre of this image which is where most of the interest is for me. I wonder if an even tighter crop would have worked so as to eliminate the background altogether although you would of course then lose some if not all the rain drops. I personally would like to see the central area a little brighter to give the image more contrast but I appreciate that this would not have been a true representation of the flower. |

I too like the trees but I find the bright ones on the left edge are drawing my eye out of the image so I would be inclined darken them down. I am very envious of your American barns, even though we have lovely stone ones I do love the texture of the wood. I agree that the foreground is a little bright. |

I particularly like the "S" shape of the boardwalk which leads the eye through to the trees. You have picked the perfect spot to take this image from. The effect of your processing on the leaves is interesting. I like that they almost look as if they come from a cartoon without the garish colours of course. I too prefer the monochrome as I think it accentuates the texture of the wood, but the colour version is great too. A lovely simple image. |
