Hi Helen, There is a path from the road that runs up the side of the church to the main entrance at the foot of the tower, you can just see the door through the trees. I've had a very quick look at your lockdown project on my phone and it looks wonderful. I will study it more closely over the next few days.

An unusual subject, what an interesting shape the vine/root makes. Unfortunately I find that the scene is a little busy. I wonder whether a tighter crop might work better, you could perhaps take off the top third which would still leave the main part of the "Knot" intact. |

What an interesting tree. I am fascinated by your conversion process and will try using the neutral filter myself. I do find the image a little flat and I wonder if it is possible to introduce a little more contrast in to it? |

A lovely tranquil scene. It has indeed been very difficult to produce new images during the current pandemic. I hope all goes well with your vaccination and that you are then able to get out and about again, I had mine a couple of weeks ago and it has certainly given me more confidence. I agree with Terry that the image is a little noisy, I also feel that the out of focus leaves in the foreground are a little distracting but the sky is lovely. Have you considered a square format? |

Thank you. While I like the trees either side of the building I feel it is a shame that they hide so much of the church, particularly, as once they are in leaf, it is almost completely hidden, but the landowner probably wouldn't appreciate me taking a chainsaw to them! |

Thank you Beverly. I would encourage your to have camera converted as IR enables you to take photos in conditions that just wouldn't work in colour. |

These are magnificent trees and the inclusion of the road helps to provide scale as well as drawing the eye through the image. I like the light patch of sky at the top which draws my eye upwards through the trees. The light on the tree in the background also draws my eye through the trees. A little more light on the trunk of the tree in the middle foreground would perhaps help bring out the detail which I think would enhance the image. |

This is a striking image. I like the way the tree on the left fills the space to that side of the image and provides a counterbalance to the house. I too would crop the area to the right of the house as this simplifies the image and, in my view, would strengthen it. |

This is a lovely image. I like the way you have processed it and the atmosphere you have created, I particularly like the addition of the glow. The only comment I have is that I find the modern building on the left in the background a little distracting. My suggestion therefore would be to crop the image immediately above the tower on the chapel which would eliminate most of the modern building. |
