I feel that there are two images in this scene. The sky is magnificent and the long exposure has given it an almost threatening feel. I assume there was a storm on the way. However I don't think you need the lead in and I would suggest cropping the image just below the shoreline. Alternatively the lead in with just the buildings, i.e. cropping out most of the sky, would make another interesting composition. As the sky is so powerful I would tend towards the former which I think would make a striking image. |

I too like the shadows on the bridge but overall find the lighting a little harsh so I might try to reduce the contrast. It is rather a busy image. Cropping some off the top to make the image square would focus attention on the bridge and in my view would simplify it while still providing enough information to the viewer to make it clear that the location was in a wood. |

I suspect we have all been getting out and about less often and hence doing less photography than normal. However it was worth going out to take this. I like the subtle shades you seem to have gone to great lengths to achieve. I agree with Helen that a square crop would suit this image, it would also eliminate a bright area to the left. I would then try to tone down the bright area in the leaf at the bottom right of the stem. A lovely image Debbie. |

I don't think I have seen this one before. I like the blue and yellow tones you have achieved and I also like the combination of elements, water, church, trees and mountain. Maybe the area of grass between the water and the church could be toned down a little as it is rather bright and perhaps taking a little off the top of the image would focus attention on the church. I might also clone the telegraph pole out. I feel the water is an important element as it draws my attention in towards the church. Overall a pleasing image. |

I like the colour and the composition of this image. The rocks provide a perfect lead in line from the left. My only reservation about this image is that there seem to be some strange swirls in the sky which look a little artificial. I've looked at your originals and can't quite see whether they were there to start with, and therefore just enhanced by your processing, or whether they are the result of it. |
