Thank you for your suggestion, I'll have a try at cropping it as you suggest. |

Thanks for your comments. Now you have mentioned it I can see that the wall is very dominant. In hindsight I should have walked to the corner and taken the castle without the wall, however I think the castle may then have obscured the countryside in the background. |

The trees are beautiful and provide a perfect frame for the buildings. I love the delicacy and tonal range of this image. The fence however seems a little incongruous and it acts as a barrier to the lovely scene beyond. Unfortunately I don't think it adds anything to the image. It would probably be difficult to clone out the fence but do you have any taken over the top of it? |

This is a lovely tranquil scene with the boats providing a strong focal point. Overall I like the colour which looks reasonably natural except on the trees where I feel it needs to be applied with a little more subtlety. I might have cropped the sky out to get rid of the lens flare. A great effort though, I am sure you spent hours on it and I admire your patience. |

This is a very unusual and fascinating image, there is so much too look at in it. I have just one or two suggestions. I think I would have cloned out the distracting notice in the background on the left hand side and there is also something on the right in the background that draws my eye. I wonder whether either taking the objects that are the subject of your image from a lower angle, and/or with a wider aperture, might have eliminated or reduced these distractions, in the latter case by throwing them out of focus. |

This is a very dramatic image which again illustrates well the terrible destruction brought about by the tornado. I love the angle you have taken this from, and also the sky, both of which add to the drama. It must be awful to be rendered homeless let alone at the age of 75. Is your neighbour living with relatives for the time being? |

This is a lovely image. The tree stands out against the background and provides a strong focal point. There is plenty of interest too in the sky and the hills in the background. Maybe you could crop a little off the bottom which isn't so interesting but that is the only suggestion I can make. |

Yes you have certainly made an impact with this image. Your processing has really brought out the texture in the bark of the dead tree. I am not sure whether the dead tree on its own against the sky would have made a stronger image but this was probably impossible to achieve. Overall a lovely image, one that certainly captures the essence of these Bristlecone Pines. |
