This is a lovely tranquil scene but I do find it lacking a little in contrast. I would suggest darkening the tree trunks and lightening the foliage, just a little, to give the image more impact. I also agree with Sharon in that a boat or something would add interest to the image and would provide a focal point. |

The foliage is lovely but I would have preferred to see more of the tree although I appreciate that, as it was taken in a zoo, the background might not have been very attractive.I too would have liked to see a definite focal point. |

This is a striking image of the destruction that these storms can cause. Fortunately we do not usually suffer such violent weather in the UK although we have had devastating floods in the centre of the country in the last week or so which have similarly affected people's homes and livelihoods. It is hard to imagine how terrible it must have been for you to live through such an incident. I am so sorry that you and your neighbours have lost so much. I agree with Sharon, this is a very good PJ image and as such you might want to enter it in to a competition. I think it is very important to increase peoples' awareness of the impact that climate change is having across the world. |

The strength of this image lies in its simplicity. The structures are very strong and the wispy clouds behind it provide a good contrast. It looks as if there is a vapour trail in the sky which I might have cloned out and there does seem to be quite a bit of noise in the sky. Overall a pleasing image which has inspired me to revisit my IR images of the Palouse. |

Another striking and lovely image from you. As usual for your work it is very crisp and sharp. The colour of the sky is beautiful which helps to make the trees stand out. The small stream helps to lead the eye through the trees to the background. I cannot suggest any improvements. |

I admire you for experimenting with new software. I like the bright pink of the trees but the colour seems to be bleeding in to the background. There are also some paler areas on the hillside which look a little odd. Nevertheless it is an appealing image because of the strong composition. |
