It is great fun to experiment and an important part of the learning process. This image is very creative but I am not sure about the colours in the sky and clouds. I would be inclined to crop a little from the right to make the tree a little less central. |

This is a lovely image but I am not 100% sure about the sky. I can't quite put my finger on it but perhaps the use of HDR has made it appear slightly soft which looks out of keeping with the rest of the image. I prefer the original version 1. The building also seems to me to have a slight tilt and the dark area on the steeple looks a little odd. It is such a pleasant scene it is worth further work. |

You've certainly captured the spirit of this occasion and conveyed the sense of fun in your image. It's always interesting to see IR used in unusual circumstances. Given the situation, i.e. that you only had an IR camera and there were other photographers present, I am not sure how you could have improved on this. |

I agree with everything Helen says and I think its important to keep the shadows in at the base of the steps as they add to the image. Its a lovely, simple image. I'm tempted to suggest that it could be improved by including a figure on the steps to provide a focal point, but I am not sure about this as it might spoil its simplicity. Just a thought. |

This is a very striking image particularly with the pink foliage which suggests cherry blossom. I love the simplicity of the scene. I might be tempted to crop a little off the top as the sky is not particularly interesting but I cannot suggest any other improvements. The end result has been worth all the effort you put in to processing it. A lovely image. |

I too like the effect you have achieved, it suggests that the trees are swaying in the breeze. I also agree that you need less water as this would focus attention on the foliage and sky. Overall a lovely image. |
