Thanks Debbie. I did have Topaz until recently but it stopped working and I don't seem to be able to restore it.I will shortly be investing in a new computer and I will then install Topaz again and will then try out your suggestion. |

Thanks for your comments Helen. I think its worth having another go at this one using HDR. Just need some suitable weather! |

Thanks for your comments Sharon. I will have another attempt at taking this scene from a slightly different angle as you suggest and I will then try to give the image more contrast when processing it. |

I like the statue and particularly the reflections in it but I feel there are too many distracting elements to make a strong image. Perhaps I would have gone in closer to eliminate most of the fence and the aircraft in the background. There also seem to be some lines across the sky although I can't see them in the original. |

This certainly tells a story. I like the way you have reduced the opacity of the woman making her fade in to the background implying that she is the ghost while the children are more solid. I agree with Sharon regarding the size of the woman and I too would like to see her feet. |

This is a fascinating image. It reminds me of a scene from a science fiction movie as if the lamps have an inner life of their own. A very unusual and creative image. |

I can't make up my mind about this one. On one hand I like the cropped, simplified version but on the other hand I feel that a wider view of the building is required to give the window and ladder some context. Maybe I would compromise and leave a little more of the building in on the right hand side while cropping out some of the wall on the left. |

I agree that more separation is needed between the tree and the background. There are a number of interesting elements in this image, the clouds, the rocks, the tree and the strong shadow under the tree, but unfortunately they are competing with one another. |

This is an appealing image. I like the contrast between the white building and the dark sky but I do find that the tower in the background on the left of the image, which is presumably another building, makes it a little cluttered and I wondered if this could be cloned out. I think there is great potential here for more images taken from different angles, if that is possible, maybe focusing on some of the detail in the building. |
