This seems an amazing building and I think you have chosen the angle for your shot well. The light and shadows add to the image.I agree that taking a little off the top would strengthen it and I would suggest cloning out the bright spots, which I assume are lights, in the upper dark area as they are a little distracting but overall I think this a great piece of work. |

I agree that his image could be improved by some selective cropping. I would be inclined to turn it in to a landscape format by cropping some of the foliage in the foreground but also perhaps by cropping out some of the sky above the central tree. This would place more emphasis on the bridge. I also notice that you have some lens flare in the water and reflection but I am not sure that you can do much about this. It is nevertheless a lovely image. |

I visited Georgia O'Keefe's ranch at the end of 2017 and photographed some of the beautiful landscapes in the area that she painted, so it is interesting to see this shot of her home. I like the image but I think it would make a stronger composition if you cropped some of the sky out, say from the top of the wall on the left hand side. I too like the texture of the wall and I think the ladder adds to the composition. |

The contrast between the columns and the ferns makes an appealing image but I think it would be stronger if you cropped a little off the top to eliminate the space at the top of the second column from the left. The different patterns on this column add interest but the space at the top of it leads my eye out. |

I am just back from Bulgaria so I should be able to comment on this month's images after all. I do like the treatment you have given this image and I like the blue tone in the sky. However I would have preferred to see the building a more neutral tone to create more contrast overall. I also feel that your original composition with the building placed to one side is stronger. |
