35 Dec 18 Comment I think you have achieved your aim of making this image look like an old photo but I would like to see slightly less vignette. I like the white but I'd just reduce the area covered by it. The boat is very interesting and you've greatly improved the scene by cloning out the people and the buildings in the background. Overall a pleasing image. Dec 14th
35 Dec 18 Comment This is a stunning image Debbie. What a wonderful sky, you must take full credit for bringing out all the detail in it. The only suggestion I can make to improve the image is to crop the bottom off so the horizon is less central. This would also remove the reflection of the sun which I find a little distracting and, in my opinion, adds nothing to the image. Lovely work. Dec 9th
35 Dec 18 Comment This is an unusual and interesting image. I enjoy photographing dereliction and obsolete objects too but for me there is a little too much in this image. I think I would crop out most of the nettles on the left and take a little off the top to place mor emphasis on the sink and to simplify the image. I do like the ivy trailing from the bottom of the sink and would like to have seen a little more of this. Dec 9th
35 Dec 18 Comment I enjoy the simplicity of this image. For me it is all about texture and the sand in the foreground is lovely. I find the clouds and the sky a distraction in this particular image so I might have cropped them out altogether. I think this would then convert the image in to a vey strong pattern picture. Dec 9th
35 Dec 18 Comment I wonder how much longer this building will be standing? I would have liked to see a little more space around the building to give more context to the image. It also looks as if you could have used the fence on the left as a strong lead in line if you had taken the image from further back. Perhaps this wasn't possible? I also think that slightly more contrast would have given the image more impact. Dec 9th
35 Dec 18 Comment You have gone to great trouble to produce this image and I think the subtle colours are lovely. I also like the artistic treatment you have given it. I do find the centre a little muddled and nothing appears very sharp. I wonder whether you could have pruned the plant a little to make it less muddled. Overall though I find it a very appealing image. Dec 9th
