I like this image very much, particularly the way you have framed the pot through the door. Your treatment of the image has brought out the texture of the brickwork and the tiled floor. A lovely and interesting image. |

This is a striking image Helen, as usual you have achieved a lovely range of tones. I too would remove the shadow and the tree branches from the top and sides of the image. I am not sure about the gravestone in the foreground. At first it seemed a little odd but on balance I think it adds to the appeal of the image. The sky is beautiful. |

It is a shame that people clamber all over these rocks. I have been to the Arches National Park a couple of times and found the same problem there. I think, however, that you have done well in difficult circumstances to achieve an interesting photo. I agree with Sharon's suggestions regarding cropping the image on the left and right. |

This image seems a little busy. I would love to see a simpler version with perhaps just the jetty and hut against the sky. I wonder if you could clone out the trees and buildings in the background? I do like the drama of the sky so I don't think that I would change this. |

Thanks Debbie. The general consensus seems to be that the sky needs more interest. I hadn't thought of using transform but that seems a good idea. Thanks for the suggestion. |

Thanks Sharon, I do have a collection of skies, including some very dramatic ones, and I could certainly try putting one in. Thanks for the suggestion. |

Thank you for your comments Helen. Yes I think it was lived in. Yes I agree that the sky does need a few more clouds. I hadn't thought about cropping the sky so I'll give this atry too. |
